Our Family

This past weekend we had an old friend of my hubby, who is also a phenominal photographer, take some family photos of us.  Oh my gosh, y'all...

I love them all.  But for now, I'll share just two! :)  I'll update in a few days with a lot more, but I haven't gotten them back from her yet.

He's a big boy.

Tonight was a big night for W.

He took a bath in the big bathtub!

Well, kind of.

He usually sits in his little whale bathtub that I place on the countertop (selfishly, so I don't have to bend over!)  but after the past three nights of telling him "no" when he tries to grab everything on the counter (the lamp, the sugar container, the dish towel, the salt and pepper shakers), I decided it was time to move up to the big bathtub.

 His first "real" bath. 

This blowup bath is awesome.  I don't have to worry about him toppling over and all his toys stay in ONE place.  #thankyoulord

 He had the best time splashing, hugging the duck, and just chillin' out.  He thought he was such a big boy.

And yes, I may have cried.

He's NOT allowed to grow up.

Tennis and snow.

This past weekend was incredible.  The weather was in the 70's and today there is a sheet of sleet and ice on the groud. North Carolina weather: YOU ARE BIPOLAR.

Get it together.

Anyway, I loved it and so did my little man.  We had some friends come in from Charlotte and they loved playing with W.  Well, as much as a house full of men can "love playing with a baby."  I'm sure women would love on him a little different that men.  But he was not without love, for sure.  

Tennis was played while the gals and W sunbathed, and all was right in the world.

I cannot wait for Spring.
