Stitch Fix #6

ANOTHER box?  It's only been like 2.5 weeks, right?  I asked for another box a little early, because I wanted to move my monthly date back to the first of the month so I got two boxes in one month.  I'm so glad too, because I got some pretty awesome things in my box this month!

What is Stitch Fix?
Stitch Fix is an online personal stylist-
You create an online profile.
You get five hand picked items.
Keep what you love, send back what you don't..

You sign up here and pay $20 a month to have someone pick out five pieces of clothing for you that gets mailed to your door!  The bonus is if you keep any items, you get to put the $20 styling fee towards your clothing.

You can pick your price points (I chose "The cheapest option" and then they'll send you items for you to try on at home, and you return them in three days(in a prepaid envelope).  If you like all the items, you can get  25% your whole order!

If you remember from my last box, I got a different stylist.  She was great, but I missed having my "old" stylist, so I requested her for now on.  Yay.  I was so pleased when I saw she had styled (and will continue to style) my box.

Here's what I got this time:

1. Viper Plaid Split Neck Blouse- $48.00

My first impression of this top was really great. I loved the silky feel and the color. Great for fall and the sleeves could be buttoned up to short sleeves or left long.  I paired it with a belt and like the look, however, without the belt..it swallows me.  It was very flowy/boxy so I returned it for that reason.  I didn't like that it couldn't be worn without a belt.  RETURNED.

2. Mollee Dolman Sleeve Striped Dress-  $74.00

I actually requested this dress when I saw it posted on their facebook page.  LOVED it on the page, but when I got it on...yikes.  Way too big.  Sad day.  It was frumpy on me.. RETURNED

3.  Evian Laser-Cut Hem Tiered Blouse- $38.00

I squealed with DELIGHT when I saw this top in my box.  The color is fabulous, and I am a SUCKER for scallops/lace details.  I LOVE it.  The price is awesome for such great quality and I just love it.  KEPT.

4.  Carson Cross-Front Lace-Back Knit Top- $58.00

I am kind of kicking myself for returning this...but oh well.  Something else will come that's better.  I love the color, and the lace back.  Very chic and cute.  The front was so-so to me...hubby loved this top but I just couldn't jusitfy the price.  It was a tad short too, so I didn't keep it. RETURNED.

5.  Davis Leopard Print Button-up Cardigan-  $68.00

I love cheetah prints. I love cardigans.  However I have (for real) over 25 cardigans.  And although I loved the lightweight fabric and the print, I didn't keep it for the price.  If i didn't have so many dad gum cardigans..I may have kept it.  Super cute on though..these photos are not the best but you get the picture.   RETURNED.

So overall, I kept one item.  I loved them all, but was happy with what I chose.  Let me tell you, the items that I always grab in my closet are Stitch Fix bought! No joke.  I love every single item and even if it's more pricey than TJ Maxx, I get TONS of wear out of them.
