Last week, we got the best visitors from NC!  Winslow's Grammy and Big Papi came to town for a few days and man, we had the best time! W got spoiled rotten and we enjoyed their company so much.

They even babysat while we caught a movie and dinner. what. i don't even.

it. was. fab.

We saw "Gone Girl" which was SOOOOO good. (A little raunchy in some parts, but great other than that).

Enjoy the rest of the pictures!!!

Love these sweet memories.

Oh, Monday.

Daylight savings time.  If you would have asked me two years ago what my favorite day of the year was, I would have said Daylight Savings Time Day. ha!  But now with a child...NO WAY JOSE.  W got up before 6am and it was not.fun.  Too bad babies don't get the memo to sleep in.  Oh well...

Right now, hubby's parents are visiting!  We are enjoying their company and are spoiling this baby rotten.  Winslow sure loves his grammy and big papi.  It's so sweet to watch them interact.  <3 p="">
I'll give a more formal update in a few days, but we are just enjoying time with them as we don't get to see them near enough anymore.

Here's a few pictures from the past couple days:

This boy is too cute for words.

Now get this:  We went to the Farmer's Market on Saturday and a local candle shop was giving customers with the name "Kaitlyn" HALF OFF all their candles! I was soooo pumped.  They smell heavenly too.

 This boy is into.everything.
 Hey hotty.

One more day to soak up the cuddles and spoiling!

Alabama Trip

I have had this post in the making for over a week and been so sidetracked, it's insane.  Blogging has taken the back seat since we moved and I don't really know why.  It should be MORE important now that we are far from our friends and family.  Maybe I'm in a funk.  And no i'm not preggo..so I can't blame the sickness or fatigue... let's just call it laziness.  I'm okay with that.

Finishing up our trip to Alabama...here are a few more photos.  We made a trip to the pumpkin patch and boy was it fun.  Corn troughs, hayrides, cotton trailers, pumpkins, and apple cider! YUM.

Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween from the cutest ducky around!

W's Grammy and Big Papi are in town from NC so we are soaking up the precious time with them!  Winslow adores them and I just love watching him bring them a book, plop on their lap and ask them to read it.  So cute!  I have a lot of catching up to do, and promise to get with the program in the next week!

Happy Halloween!

Surprise Surprise!

I was in cahoots with my stepdad and showed up on my mom's doorstep on Tuesday!  W and I flew up to Alabama to spend the better part of a week with them.

Winslow has had a wonderful time opening every single drawer and cabinet and terrorizing Rosie, their dachshund.

It was so exciting to see my mom's face when we just showed up at the door.  She screamed and unfortunately Winslow thought the world was ending.  He got so scared and was sobbing for like 10 minutes. Poor poor babe!

We've enjoyed the cooler weather (SO not used to this after coming from a hot summer in NC and HOT Florida weather...tomorrow is the neighborhood yard sale and we are planning on doing some shopping.  :)

Enjoy the photos!
