Texas in November.

Since I haven't updated in a while, I wanted to share some photos from our last visit to my dad and stepmom's house/farm.  We love going there because Winslow adores being on the farm with 100 acres to roam.  My dad has goats, chickens, a recently got two PIGS for Christmas. HAHA!  He is a doctor by day and a farmer in ALL of his spare time (like a total of 30 minutes per week really) Okay, that's an exaggeration, but he doesn't sleep much!  He's the best grandpa to my boys.  We are lucky to have him.

Here are just a few of my favorites from our week there.

Our trip to North Carolina!

Only over a week behind on this blog post, but I just haven't had the "want to" to edit photos and blog as of lately.  We got back from our NC trip last week, and then have been pretty busy since then.  This week is looking like it'll be slower, so that is appreciated.

Here's a lot of photos from our trip! I hope you enjoy!

We started off the week with a belated birthday celebration for Winslow.  Just family came over, but we had cake, presents, and lots of good food!
Had to get a family photo in there, with the pups.
He got a tricycle from Grammy and Papi, and he LOVES that thing. He doesn't use the pedals much, but just runs his feet on the floor and can sure zoom by me!

We had a couple play dates with friends!

And we also made a trip to the Raleigh children's museum. So fun and only $5!  Ours here in Tampa is like $18! Sheesh.  He loved everything about it and would have stayed all day.

Then, the rest of the week was spent outside mostly...it wasn't 98 degrees like it is here.

We had a great visit!

Sick sick sick

Well...we are back from Texas and although it was wonderful and great and loads of fun, we are both SICK.  Winslow got a bad head cold/ cough/congestion last week and it's still holding on.

A few days later, it's hit me hard. I feel like I am underwater most of the day, and I've coughed so much my chest feels like it could explode.  I don't sleep a wink at night due to coughing, and I have gone through 2 boxes of Kleenex since we've been home.

I promise to update you on our Texas adventures, and I have another post about Stitch Fix too! But first, I am focusing my time and energy on getting our household WELL.  *And praying that daddy doesn't get sick*

Just thought I'd stop in to let you know that I have not fallen off the earth.  While in Texas, my dad has bad internet service so I couldn't update there and W was too busy playing with the goats anyway. ;)

More coming soon..I promise!

Alabama Trip

I have had this post in the making for over a week and been so sidetracked, it's insane.  Blogging has taken the back seat since we moved and I don't really know why.  It should be MORE important now that we are far from our friends and family.  Maybe I'm in a funk.  And no i'm not preggo..so I can't blame the sickness or fatigue... let's just call it laziness.  I'm okay with that.

Finishing up our trip to Alabama...here are a few more photos.  We made a trip to the pumpkin patch and boy was it fun.  Corn troughs, hayrides, cotton trailers, pumpkins, and apple cider! YUM.
