My little fish.

I was off Friday (Praise.The.Lord.) and W and I trekked over to my BFF's house for a playdate.

This was W's first time in water besides the bathtub..he had a blast.  I can't wit to sit by the pool drinking mimosas every day this summer.  #wellicandreamright?

See that little goose egg?  Poor buddy got excited while crawling after little miss Savannah and busted it.

Love these babies!

I make pretty babies.

I hate to brag, but look at this baby! is he not precious?

This weekend, he ventured out and ate some spaghetti, half a banana, and a whole piece of toast!  I am so proud of my little monkey.  But after dinner was over, he was COVERED in slobber, food, and other little boy germs..so in the sink he went.
It was his first sink bath...and we spent almost an hour splishing and a splashing.  He had so much fun.

Enjoy the naked baby picture overload.

AND THIS ONE IS MY FAVORITE.

Can someone please remove the rubber bands from his legs??  I am dying over here.

LOVE LOVE LOVE.

Xoxo,

Ham n Yam Festival...where the gettin's good.

Every year in the next town over from us, there is what they call the "Ham n Yam Festival".  It's pretty much just a redneck* town festival..complete with funnel cakes and large stuffed animals.

*Disclaimer:  My husband requested that I cross through that word because his loyalty and love to our county prevent him from supporting a blog post referring to its citizens as rednecks. But I will say, when festivals come to town, you wanna bring Bobby and his Aunt and their dog..all while drinking a Coors Light and smoking a Virginia Slim.

I love it though.  Not knockin' small town festivals.  We had a blast. And plus,  my hometown consists of 5000 people.

Proceeding...

The funny thing is, we could only find two places that sold HAM..and one that sold Yams...maybe we just missed them.. but we did get a ham biscuit.

And there you have it!

Roadtrip

This past weekend, we made a mini-roadtrip to Charlotte to visit our good friends.  This was W's first roadtrip (besides the one where we got stuck in the snow for 4 hours on Valentine's Day).  He did pretty good, but did have a mini-meltdown on the way there..he was sick of riding in the car and didn't like being restricted..he loved it when I was sitting in the back with him, so I did whatever made him happy!

The boys played Fifa while the girls just chatted about life..it was wonderful.

When we got there on Saturday, Alli and I went to get a pedicure..and had a glass of wine while they were doing our toes! It was wonderful.  The boys watched W while we did that and then we all went to dinner.  After W went to bed, the boys met up with some friends and played tennis while Alli and I ate Talenti Gelato and watched Frozen.  Cutest movie ever. haha!

We had a wonderful weekend.
