Easter 2015

Easter is one of my very favorite holidays.  To me, it means family, friends, good food, and new life. Life in Jesus.  Because he died on the cross and suffered a horrible death, we are able to live again!  It's such a beautiful day to remember that and I just always feel so blessed to celebrate.  This year, we had our dear friends come in from NC (our first visitors here in FL since we moved!)  and it was wonderful.

I'll had to do a whole seperate post on our time together but for now, enjoy the Easter photos!  A few were taken a couple weeks ago (the ones of Winslow in his bunny outfit), but the rest were taken this past weekend.

Little man opening his Easter basket.  He got an Elmo faucet cover, a new diaper, some bubbles, a couple books, and a little stuffed Elmo. 

 

So thankful for the reason we celebrate Easter.  New life in Jesus Christ.

I was off Friday (Praise.The.Lord.) and W and I trekked over to my BFF's house for a playdate.

This was W's first time in water besides the bathtub..he had a blast.  I can't wit to sit by the pool drinking mimosas every day this summer.  #wellicandreamright?

Roadtrip

This past weekend, we made a mini-roadtrip to Charlotte to visit our good friends.  This was W's first roadtrip (besides the one where we got stuck in the snow for 4 hours on Valentine's Day).  He did pretty good, but did have a mini-meltdown on the way there..he was sick of riding in the car and didn't like being restricted..he loved it when I was sitting in the back with him, so I did whatever made him happy!

 The boys played Fifa while the girls just chatted about life..it was wonderful. 

When we got there on Saturday, Alli and I went to get a pedicure..and had a glass of wine while they were doing our toes! It was wonderful.  The boys watched W while we did that and then we all went to dinner.  After W went to bed, the boys met up with some friends and played tennis while Alli and I ate Talenti Gelato and watched Frozen.  Cutest movie ever. haha!

We had a wonderful weekend.

Tennis and snow.

This past weekend was incredible.  The weather was in the 70's and today there is a sheet of sleet and ice on the groud. North Carolina weather: YOU ARE BIPOLAR.

Get it together.

Anyway, I loved it and so did my little man.  We had some friends come in from Charlotte and they loved playing with W.  Well, as much as a house full of men can "love playing with a baby."  I'm sure women would love on him a little different that men.  But he was not without love, for sure.  

Tennis was played while the gals and W sunbathed, and all was right in the world.

I cannot wait for Spring.
