Christmas Cards

Have y'all thought about Christmas Cards yet?
I sure hope so-it'll be here before you know it!

Every year, I always get mine from Shutterfly.
I love their products and I want to share how wonderful they are with you!

I order them online and it only take me like twenty minutes (15 of that is spend trying to decide between the fabulous designs!) and they ship super quick.

Then I wait by the mailbox until they come. Well not really, but I always LOVE the way they turn out. This will be the fourth year in a row I've ordered from them.

I love how many designs they carry and it's so easy to customize.

Happy Shopping!! Remember it's never to early to shop for Christmas!

Farmhouse Table!

That i made with my own two hands.  I am so proud.

I'll share a few details about it later, but for now, enjoy the photos!

I still have to work on the chairs.. I believe I am going to paint them all white and the three that you see on the side are going away..i have three more that i'm working on! ;)
In some photos, it looks red-ish, but in real life it's a beautiful gray/brown stain...I'll share how I stained it in an upcoming post.

I can see many children sitting around this table one day.. :)

Introducing...

This weekend we welcomed a new dog into our family!  We adopted her from a family who had been neglecting her pretty badly and so we don't know exactly how healthy she is (we are taking her to the veterinarian first thing tomorrow) but all that matters is that we are going to give her the best home in the world!

Introducing: Darla!  Our sweet golden retriever.

We gave her a bath and she LOVED it!  We know she loves water, loves to fetch, can sit, lay down, and shake and loves a good belly rub.  She is such a sweet girl.

I was hesitant to get another dog so soon after Penny passed away (it's been just over a month) but you know what?  It's helping me heal from our loss and I know she needed a good home.  It will take some getting used to because she is already so different than our Penny girl, but I know she is going to be a great addition to our family.

I love her.

Welcome to our family, sweet Darla.
